WESTPORT, Conn. -- Carole S. Hunter, 70, wife of Fred C. Hunter and longtime resident of Westport, died Sunday, Dec. 13, in Norwalk Hospital.
She was born Sept. 11, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Betty Lou (Cuthbertson) Harper.
She was a substitute teacher in Westport for 20 years. She also was a seamstress.
In addition to her husband Fred, she is survived by two sons, Jim Hunter and his wife Jessica of Bridgeport, and Paul Hunter and his wife Wendy; two grandchildren, Lauren and Chase of Hinsdale III; one sister, Donna Case and her husband Robert of Vermilion, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Pattie; nieces Beth and Katie and nephew Tim.
The Hunter family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport.
