WESTPORT, Conn. - Angelo R. DeMattio of Westport died May 10. He was 77.
DeMattio was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Norwalk, son of Edward and Louise (Fabrizio) DeMattio. He was a lifelong resident of Westport and worked as a butcher for Grand Union in Norwalk for over 25 years.
DeMattio is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Samuel DeMattio of Westport; daughter, Penelope DeMattio of Westport; and sister, Rose Marie Stanley of McLean, Va. He was predeceased by his parents.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 17 at 11:30 a.m. directly at Assumption Cemetery 73 Greens Farms Road, Westport.
