Kimberly Demetriow of Stormville, N.Y., may have walked away uninjured after crashing her car in Westport last week, but she walked away in handcuffs.
On Friday night, police responded to an accident in the area of 158 Newtown Turnpike and found that Demetriow, 24, crashed into a utility pole. In speaking with Demetriow, officers smelled alcohol on her breath, police said. She failed field sobriety tests and was charged with operating under the influence and failure to drive right, police said. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 25.
Also from the police blotter:
