Westport Community Band: 8 to 9:30 p.m. Enjoy a concert by the Westport Community Band. Under the direction of Sal LaRusso, the sixty piece group performs a wide variety of music including concert band compositions, show tunes, marches, a little pop, and some classical. Free. Business Special: 10 a.m. Learn about creating optimal content to grow your business. Deirdre Silverstein will led the discussion about how to create your brand and positioning statement, and use online and social media outlets to get the word out. Summer Café Lunch-escapes : 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Join the Westport Farmers' Market for interactive and informative discussions about ideas of community and landscape. Discussions will include local fresh food vendors, bee keepers, environmentalists, organic farmers and community leaders. Fresh local snacks will be provided. Young Professionals Meet-Up: 6:30 p.m. Westport Country Playhouse presents InteraCT Playhouse Young Professionals, a social and networking event including and cocktail party. The event is specifically designed for patrons under 40 working in Fairfield County to meet, mingle and enjoy a night of theater. The party is followed by a performance at 8 p.m. of Joan Didions The Year of Magical Thinking. $35. For tickets or information, call the Playhouse box office at 203-227-4177. Margot Leverett and The Klezmer Mountain Boys: 8 p.m. Klezmer clarinetist Margot Leverett joins forces with The Klezmer Mountain Boys, stars of klezmer and bluegrass, to explore the shared musical spirit of these two genres. Free. Levitt Pavilion, 40 Jesup Road.
