4:30 p.m.: Stop by Stamford's Overbrook Nature Center to learn the science behind some favorite natural wonders. Young visitors will study amphibians and make slime, discover color science through making their own watercolors, build with magnets and more. Sessions continue through April 30. 7 p.m.: Richard Breeden, chairman and CEO of Breeden Capital Management in Greenwich, gives a talk at Sacred Heart University. Breeden also worked in the White House as a senior economics and domestic policy adviser during the administrations of Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush.
