WESTPORT, Conn. Hot, stormy weather is in Westport's forecast for the Memorial Day weekend. The National Weather Service predicts temperatures in the 80s and a slight chance of thunderstorms much of the three-day weekend.
The weather service predicts temperatures in the low 70s and a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms Friday afternoon. Saturday will start with fog in the morning but will otherwise be sunny, with a high of 82.
The slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will return Sunday and into Monday, with temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s, the weather service said. The chance of rain and thunderstorms for Mondays Memorial Day parade is about 30 percent.
