WESTPORT, Conn. Westport resident Jessica Hwang, 38, turned herself in to police Monday on warrants charging her with drunken driving and violating a protective order, police said.
The warrants stem from an incident in September where Hwang, of 1655 Post Road E., flipped her car in the area of Greens Farms Road and River Oaks. A warrant for operating under the influence and other motor vehicle charges was later filed, police said.
During the investigation, police learned Hwang was the subject of a protective order stating she not use alcohol or illegal drugs. The second warrant charged her with criminal violation of a protective order.
She was released after posting a $2,500 bond for first warrant and a $5,000 bond for the second. She was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday for the protective order violation and is due in court Oct. 13 for the other charges.
