WESTPORT, Conn. Westport resident Sean Kosmicki is facing six counts of credit theft and other charges after he was arrested Tuesday night in connection with an assault, police said.
Police were called to Kosmicki's home at 10 Lockwood Circle on a report that Kosmicki assaulted a family member. When officers arrived, Kosmicki, 20, ran out of the house but was quickly detained, police said.
When Kosmicki was taken into custody, he was searched and found in possession of several credit cards that did not belong to him. Officers said they later learned the credit cards were reported stolen.
In addition to six counts of credit card theft, Kosmicki was charged with second-degree assault, interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct. He was unable to post a $10,000 bond and was arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court on Wednesday morning.
