WESTPORT, Conn. – All youth programs scheduled for Monday at the Westport Weston Family Y, including gymnastics, basketball and swim lessons, have been canceled due to concerns about the weather conditions, Y officials said.
As schools are closed Monday, the Y’s Stauffer Pool will close to the public at 2:15 p.m. to accommodate the Water Rat senior swim team, which will have practice until 4:15 p.m. However, because youth swim lessons have been canceled, the Stauffer Shallows pool will be open for free swim from 2:15-4:15 p.m.
The Y’s Early Learning programs, including babysitting services, also are canceled Monday.
Other regularly scheduled programs will take place, though some classes may be canceled if the instructor is unable to make it.
