WESTPORT, Conn. Westport resident Erika Horn was arrested last Saturday after she crashed her car into a light pole on Greens Farms Road near Clapboard Hill, Westport police said.
Horn, of 302 Hillspoint Road, was the only person in the car and was not injured. When an officer arrived at the crash, he said he smelled alcohol on Horn's breath. Police said Horn, 38, failed field sobriety tests.
She was charged with operating under the influence and failure to drive right. The results of her breath test were .167 and .162, police said. The legal blood-alcohol limit is .08. She was released after posting a $500 bond and is due on court on Aug. 11.

? Norwalk resident Jan Sofranko, 48, is facing a DUI charge in Westport after he was pulled over and his blood alcohol measured about three times the legal limit, police said.
Sofranko was spotted by police on Post Road East near Fresh Market after his car swerved in and out of its lane five times, police said. Once Sofranko was stopped, the officer smelled alcohol on his breath, police said.
Sofranko was unsteady on his feet and swayed side to side, police said. He failed field sobriety tests and was charged with operating under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane. The results of Sofranko's breath test were .247 and .237, police said. The legal blood-alcohol limit is .08. He was released after posting a $500 bond and is due on court on Aug. 11.
