Westport resident Marcia Hayes of 73 Myrtle Ave. has been in frequent contact with Westport police over the past couple of weeks, but not for good reason.
On Tuesday morning, police received a call from Hayes' neighbors about an ongoing dispute between Hayes, 52, and her boyfriend. When officers showed up, Hayes was reportedly not compliant and was arrested in the dispute.
A computer check on her name showed there was a warrant out for her arrest, which stemmed from a prior disorderly conduct charge she failed to appear in court on the day before. She was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree failure to appear. She is next due in court March 16.
Three days before on Feb. 5, Hayes was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after her neighbors reported an "extremely" loud argument. According to police reports, officers advised Hayes of her upcoming court date at the time she was arrested. She is scheduled to appear in court March 16 for this charge as well.
Also from the police blotter:
Westport resident Alan Unger of 785 Post Road E. was arrested Monday night after police received a call about a domestic dispute. Unger, 44, reportedly punched his girlfriend during an argument. He was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He appeared in court Tuesday and is scheduled to appear again Feb. 15.
