WESTPORT, Conn. Two Westport teens are being charged with a vandalism that occurred earlier this month on Pumpkin Hill Road , police say.
Matthew Humphrey, of 4 Salem Lane, and John Angus, of 26 Colony Road, were involved in a verbal argument that broke out between several teens on Pumpkin Hill Road in the early morning hours on Aug. 17, police say. Later that morning, the homeowner of 10 Pumpkin Hill Road discovered that his white fence had been vandalized with spray paint.
Humphrey and Angus, both 18, were charged with third-degree criminal mischief. They were released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 2.
