WESTPORT, Conn. — A 46-year-old Trumbull woman who was found passed out behind the wheel of a car in Westport on Saturday is facing a drunken driving charge, police said.
At approximately 4:23 p.m., officers responded to a report that a woman was passed out in a vehicle on Charles Street, police said. The woman, later identified as Heidi Beri, was woken up by the officers and asked to perform roadside sobriety tests police said.
After failing the tests, Beri was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. She was released after posting bond and is due at Norwalk Superior Court on Aug. 27.
