WESTPORT, Conn. A Bridgeport man was arrested in Westport early Friday morning after police received a call that a bald, black male wearing hooded sweatshirt was stealing a television off the wall of the Saugatuck train station, police said.
After receiving the report, Officer Howard Simpson went to the train station and confirmed the TV was missing. In searching the station for the suspect, the officer found Keith Bondurant sitting on the New York bound side of the platform with the TV wrapped in garbage bags next to him, police said.
Bondurant, 48, was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny. He was held on a $5,000 bond.
