WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Planning & Zoning Commission is scheduled to review two new text amendments on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Auditorium.
Amendment No. 664 will require waterfront access and protect river views on all commercial and Special Permit Use properties.
"The changes are entirely in keeping with the Town Plan which strongly encourages waterfront access and maintaining river views,” Planning & Zoning Director Laurence Bradley said.
Also up for review will be Amendment No. 663, which includes provisions to improve sight distances at driveways of development sites, and new special permit approval for certain parking relief regulations.
The commission can only receive written comments from the public in advance of the hearing.
Copies of the amendments are available for viewing in Town Hall both in the Planning & Zoning Office and in the Town Clerk's Office.
Westport Town Hall is at 110 Myrtle Ave.
