Westport resident Christopher Dohme of 20 Maplewood Ave. was arrested Friday night for allegedly threatening his father in an email. Police said they intercepted the 23-year-old when they learned he was on his way to his father's house. He was charged with breach of peace and is due in court on Dec. 13.
Westport resident Julie Ruza of 8 Jennings Court, who was with Dohme, was searched and found to be in possession of several wax paper folds of heroin and a syringe. Ruza, 23, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. She is also due in court on Dec. 13.

Bridgeport resident Dudley Epps was pulled over by Westport police Thursday night for having a busted headlight. Epps, 24, reportedly gave evasive and conflicting answers to officers questions. He was searched and found to be carrying a large amount of cash. A search of his car turned up scales and glassine bags filled with cocaine. He was arrested and charged with sale of a hallucinogenic and possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 13.
