WESTPORT, Conn. Westport resident Thomas Frey, 53, is facing an assault charge after he was arrested Sunday morning following a domestic incident, police said.
Frey, of 1655 Post Road E., reportedly got into a physical domestic dispute with his girlfriend at their home, police said. In addition to third-degree assault, Frey was charged with disorderly conduct. He was held on a $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court this past Monday.

Stratford resident Shakella Bond was arrested by Westport police Saturday night on a warrant charging her with third-degree assault, police said. The warrant stemmed from an incident in June where Bond, 19, allegedly assaulted another woman at the Hall-Brooke Hospital. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 15.
