The study is considering a trail that would span the entire 37.5 miles of the Merritt Parkway, stretching from the New York State border in the town of Greenwich to the Sikorsky Bridge and Housatonic River in the town of Stratford.

The trail would primarily be located within the undeveloped highway right-of-way, using the wooded buffer that exists between the roadway and abutting properties.

The public is invited to attend the meeting and take part in an open discussion of views and comments about this feasibility study and the trail.
