WESTPORT, Conn. A 2011 Ford Expedition was donated to the town Tuesday by the Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service , a nonprofit group that raises funds that support the Westport Emergency Medical Service .
The Expedition will be used as a paramedic fly-car by the Westport EMS, a division of the Westport Police Department . It replaces a 1999 Chevy Tahoe and comes fully equipped with emergency lights and sirens, a radio communications system, and paramedic supplies and equipment.
