Westport Drivers Warned Of Overnight Construction Planned For Downtown

WESTPORT, Conn. — Concrete pouring will take place during the overnight hours on Nov. 4, ending at 5 a.m., in Westport’s downtown area.

The town of Westport approved the early morning construction at Bedford Square to minimize traffic congestion.

Church Lane — from its intersection at Elm Street to Post Road East — will be closed for the work. General vehicular traffic will be detoured via Elm Street.
