Norwalk resident Daniel Devine caught the attention of a Westport police officer early Sunday morning when he allegedly ran a red light on Sylvan Road at the intersection of Post Road West.
When Devine, 27, was stopped, the officer smelled alcohol on his breath. Devine failed field sobriety tests and was charged with failure to obey a control sign and operating under the influence. He is due in court March 3.

Greenwich resident Omar Reynoso was arrested Saturday afternoon after his car broke down in Westport. When an officer spotted the car and went to investigate, it was discovered that Reynoso was wanted on a warrant from Connecticut State Police Troop G in Bridgeport. The warrant stemmed from June motor vehicle charges for which Reynoso failed to appear. He was charged with second-degree failure to appear and is due in Bridgeport court on March 1.
