A motorcyclist was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Thursday afternoon after an accident on Post Road East in Westport.
The motorcycle versus car accident happened at 4:20 p.m. Upon arrival, Westport police, firefighters and EMS found the motorcyclist lying on the grass near 1360 Post Road E. Firefighters helped EMS treat the rider before he was transported to the hospital, Assistant Fire Chief William Dingee reported.
Firefighters cleaned up a fluid spill from the motorcycle. The accident was cleared at about 5 p.m. Westport police were investigating the accident.
