A Bridgeport man driving with a cracked windshield and no front license plate early early Sunday ended up facing drug charges. When Westport police pulled over 46-year- old Harry Berrios, a search of his car turned up 29 used syringes, all of which tested positive for heroin. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and is due in court on Feb. 23.
Also from the police blotter:
Bridgeport resident Tearsey Moore was stopped by Westport police on Feb. 10 for a motor vehicle violation. In checking her registration, the officer discovered the department held a warrant for her arrest. The warrant stems from July motor vehicle charges for which Moore, 43, allegedly failed to appear on. She was charged with second-degree failure to appear and is due in court on Feb. 24.
