Westport Assessment Appeals Board Plans March Meetings

WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Board of Assessment Appeals will conduct meetings in March for the assessments on the 2014 Grand List for Real Estate, Personal Property, 2013 Grand List for Motor Vehicle Supplemental and 2014 Grand List for Motor Vehicle.

Taxpayers wishing to appeal the assessment of their property may file an application through Friday, Feb. 20.

Emailed and faxed applications are not acceptable. All applications must be received in the Assessor’s Office by close of business, 4:30 p.m., on Feb. 20.

Applications will be available through the Westport Assessor’s Office in Town Hall or online at www.westportct.gov.

Anyone who files an application will receive written confirmation of their appointment by Feb. 27.
