Westport Announces Office Hours, Deadlines For Voter Registration

WESTPORT, Conn. – The Registrars of Voters Office in Westport Town Hall will be open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for voter registration.

Thursday, April 21, is the deadline for the following registrations for the April 26 Presidential Primary: postmark for mail-in registration, postmark for new voters mail-in party changes, and for unaffiliated voters to change to Democrat or Republican.

Online registrations or changes as above are available here .

Monday, April 25, at noon in Town Hall is the deadline for new voter in-person registrations and unaffiliated voter in-person changes to Democrat or Republican. Registered Democrats and Republicans are eligible to vote in their respective primaries. Connecticut does not have an open primary system, therefore unaffiliated registrants or those registered in other parties are not eligible to vote in the April 26 primary.

Connecticut does not allow election-day registration for primaries.
