WESTON, Conn. Weston residents will have the opportunity to voice their opinions concerning the 2012-13 proposed town and school budget Tuesday night during a Board of Finance public hearing.
The hearing, which will be in the Weston Middle School cafeteria, will include discussions on the town's proposed plan of about $11.4 million, which calls for a 2.1 percent increase in spending from this year. It also will discuss the school's proposed budget of about $45.6 million, which represents an increase of 0.9 percent.
Both spending plans will cover July 2012 to June 2013. The public hearing begins at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the middle school, 135 School Road. Members of the public are strongly encouraged to attend and will be able to ask questions or express concerns on both the school and town requests.
