That's why Weston's Board of Selectmen are getting a jump on the process by discussing what traits and qualifications they are looking for in a new leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the town, the Weston Forum reported. The council plans to begin advertising for the position next month, said the Weston Forum.

The selectmen discussed establishing a board of three to five member members that would narrow down to the applicant pool to the top candidates. Ideally, the selectmen would like the board to include a former selectman, Landry, and a member of the finance board. They hope to make the selection committee appointments in the coming weeks, added the Weston Forum.
