Noel H. Lafayette, 42, of Weston, was charged with simple trespass and fined $92 early Sunday after he was found in a neighbor's driveway sniffing Dust Off, police reported.
Police were called to Weston Road at 2:27 a.m., where the officer found Lafayette parked in the complainant's driveway. The officer asked him to stop and show his hands, which he did not do, police said. The officer removed Lafayette from his vehicle and placed him on the ground and handcuffed him until backup arrived.
Once he came down from his high, Lafayette told police he lived next door and made a mistake. He was given a ride home and his girlfriend moved his car back to his driveway.
