Improperly displayed license plates prompted Westport police to stop Bridgeport resident Kevin Daniels on Friday night, and a computer check led to his arrest. According to police reports, Daniels was stopped at the I-95 on ramp at Exit 18. In searching Daniels' name in the computer, the officer learned there was a warrant out for his arrest. The warrant, out of Bridgeport, stems from an October incident in which Daniels, 27, allegedly failed to appear on a second-degree threatening charge. He is due in Bridgeport Superior Court on Dec. 27.
