Bridgeport resident Jason Pollard made the mistake of going for a drive in Westport on Saturday night without a front license plate on his car.
According to police reports, when Pollard, 28, was stopped by police, a computer check revealed there was an active arrest warrant from him out of Norwalk. The warrant stemmed from motor vehicle charges he received in November and on which he allegedly failed to appear in court.
Pollard was charged with second-degree failure to appear. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 3.
