WESTPORT, Conn. Two drivers escaped serious injury Thursday when a tractor-trailer jackknifed between exits 18 and 17 on I-95 south in Westport, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Conklin reported.
Westport firefighters and Westport EMS were called to the accident shortly before 1 p.m. Upon arrival, EMS treated the driver of the tractor-trailer, who did not require hospitalization. The driver of the car involved did not require medical treatment, Conklin said.
The tractor-trailer blocked the right and center lane until the accident was cleared at about 2 p.m.
