Town Plans Treat For Little Tricksters

Halloween is just around the corner and the Easton Parks and Recreation Department is not going to miss out on the fun. Director Gary Simone and the rest of the staff will host a Halloween Carnival for Samuel Staples Elementary School students on Friday, Oct. 29, that is sure to spook and entertain.

A decorated Halloween tractor will pick the children up from the school and bring them to the library, police station and town hall for trick-or-treating, according to Simone, who said there are just a few spots left before the 85-child maximum is met.

After the kids collect their candy, the Halloween tractor will bring them back to the school gym for a chaperoned costume party with a DJ. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume. The fee to register is one large bag of individually wrapped candies. The carnival starts at 3:45 and goes until 5:15.

For more information, call (203) 268-7200 or go to 652 Morehouse Road, Easton.
