Thunderstorms Could Be Moving Into Westport

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Sunny skies will give way to clouds later in the day in Fairfield County on Wednesday before rain, fog and a possible thunderstorm move into the area on Thursday.

A slight warming trend will continue Wednesday with a high temperature of about 42 degrees. But expect clouds and rain to start moving into the area after 5 p.m. 

The rain will continue throughout most of Thursday. Areas of fog will burn off before noon, with possible thunderstorms in the early afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be about 51 degrees. 

Showers and thunderstorms could linger in the early morning on Friday. Expect cloudy skies throughout most of the day with a high temperature of 46 degrees.

Sun will return for the weekend, with temperatures in the low to mid-40s.
