One person was hospitalized Saturday night after an SUV rolled over on I-95 south between exits 17 and 16 in Westport.
Westport firefighters responded to the call at about 10:50 p.m. and found a Land Rover lying on its roof in the left lane and the occupants out of the vehicle. A passenger was treated for cuts and bruises by Westport firefighters and EMS before being taken to Norwalk Hospital for further evaluation, Assistant Chief Robert Kepchar said in a statement.
The left and center lanes were shut down as firefighters removed fluids from the road. State police were investigating the cause of the accident. The last Westport fire unit left the scene at 11:31 p.m.
