WESTPORT, Conn. -- Interested in fixes at the beach? Already dreaming of a summer at Westport's Compo Beach.
Have some input on the plans for Compo Beach as the Westport Parks and Recreation Commission holds a public meeting on Tuesday,, in the Town Hall Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. to discuss the Compo Beach Site Improvement Committee’s recommendations for Compo Beach.
The meeting will be televised on Channel 79 on Cablevision and Channel 99 on Frontier and will be available via videostream at www.westportct.gov .
"The commission is anxious to move forward and make recommendations to the first selectman so that the town can implement appropriate improvements to one of Westport’s most popular recreational facilities," said Charlie Haberstroh, chairman of the Westport Parks and Recreation Commission.
The commission’s discussion will be open to public comment. To ensure that it will have ample time to address the issues, the commission requests that speakers limit their comments to three minutes and not replicate previous comments.
