WESTON, Conn. -- Two Weston men who work at the cable news outlet Al Jazeera America will be looking for new jobs when the network shuts down its American network by April 30, according to the Weston Forum.

Longtime Weston resident John Seigenthaler has been the face of the network’s evening news since the station took to the air in 2013, and town resident Phil Corsentino has been the executive producer for the evening news. Both men said they were not sure what they would do when the network shuts down, said the Weston Forum.

Seigenthaler, who lives in town with his wife and whose son is a graduate of Weston High, has worked as an anchor and correspondent with NBC and MSNBC in the past. Corsentino and his wife have two children in Weston public schools, the Weston Forum added.
