- Save the Children , the Westport-based international nonprofit since the 1970s, will relocate its corporate headquarters to the Riverview Office Park in Fairfield next spring.
- A 48-year-old Bridgeport woman, Eleanor Cobb, was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor after allegedly leaving a 4-year-old child alone inside a car with crack pipe in Westport.
- Westport Country Playhouse received a $75,000 Challenge Grant from Newman’s Own Foundation to increase individual donor support.
- Icy conditions caused six injuries in a 27-car pileup in Greenwich, leading to a nearly three-hour closure of Interstate 95.
