Steady rainfall on Tuesday has caused some of the snow around Westport to slowly melt, creating puddles along some roadways.
Although there is no major flooding, some large puddles have already formed. But thankfully, temperatures are expected to stay above freezing Tuesday night, with lows of about 35 degrees, so there should be little or no ice.
The National Weather Service is forecasting more rain for Wednesday, with a high of 40 degrees. This means we'll see more melting action. And that means the puddles will only get bigger.
But don't put away your snow gear just yet. There's a 60 percent chance of snow on Thursday night and a 70 percent chance of snow on Friday.
