CL&P Reports Power Outages In Westport After Storm

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Connecticut Light & Power as well as United Illuminating reported a number of power outages early Wednesday after a late-night rainstorm.

The outages reported at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday included:

Danbury: 23 customers without power
Fairfield: 94 customers without power
Greenwich: 58 customers without power
Norwalk: 796 customers without power, down from 998 earlier in the evening
Westport: 58 customers without power
Wilton: 1 customer without power

It was not clear how long it would take to repair the power outages.
