WESTPORT, Conn. A black Porsche crashed into the front entrance and elevator of a condominium complex at 130 Post Road W. in Westport on Friday afternoon, forcing residents to temporarily use the stairs, fire officials reported.
No one was injured in the crash, which happened shortly after 2:20 p.m., Assistant Fire Chief Robert Kepchar said. The driver received minor cuts to his hand and refused transport to the hospital, said Kepchar.
A building official was called to the complex to evaluate the structural security of the building. The building was turned over to the property manager at 3:30 p.m. Structural repairs were to begin shortly after that, Kepchar said.
Residents were allowed back into the building, but the elevator remained out of service.
