WESTPORT, Conn. Four Westport teens were spotted by police at the Burr Farms Sport Complex Sunday night, but they weren't there for a sporting event, police said.
During a routine patrol, an officer saw two cars parked in the back parking area of the complex. When the officer went to investigate, he found 18-year-olds Richard Snyder, Zachary Ventura, Conner Mahoney and a 17-year-old passenger inside one of the cars. Smelling alcohol, the officer looked inside the car and found two open containers of beer in the front and another bottle in the back, police said. The driver of the other parked car also admitted having beer in his vehicle.
All four teens received infraction tickets for possession of alcohol by a minor, and the drivers of the two cars were not allowed to drive home.
