Pair Plead Guilty to Bank Heists

Two Stamford men pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a string of bank robberies last year in Fairfield County, according a release from David B. Fein, U.S. attorney for Connecticut. Spero Moschos, 29, and Christopher Davis, 34, stole $41,272 during the robberies.

The pair, who will be sentenced on Sept. 24, robbed a dozen banks in Norwalk, Westport, Stamford, Darien, Wilton, Fairfield and West Harrison, N.Y., between May 2009 and August 2009. Moschos pleaded guilty to five counts of bank robbery and Davis to four counts. Each count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
