WESTON, Conn. How much time does your child spend playing and exploring the outdoors?
That is the question asked in the documentary, Mother Natures Child Growing Outdoors in the Media Age , that will be shown at the Weston Public Library next week.
The Camila Rockwell film, which is sponsored by the Aspetuck Land Trust and Wiltons Town & Country Montessori School , explores natures role in childrens health and development. The film asks such critical questions as Why do children need unstructured time outside? and How is play a form of learning?
The free film will be screened at the library, 56 Norfield Road, at 10 a.m. Thursday.
