WESTPORT, Conn. A man wanted in connection with the theft of $1.2 million from a Westport employer was arrested Sunday in Yonkers, N.Y., the New York State Police said.
Darrin Foster, 45, of the Bronx, was arrested after he asked a state trooper for a tow truck for his vehicle, which had broken down on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers, Maj. Michael Kopy said.
Foster is wanted by the U.S. Secret Service on suspicion of wire fraud in connection with the Westport theft, Kopy said.
The state police did not identify the employer.
Foster's driver's license had been suspended for failure to pay child support, Kopy said.
Foster was being held by the Secret Service in Brooklyn, N.Y., Kopy said.
