An argument between Westport resident Garrett McEntee and his wife took a turn for the worse after McEntee's father-in-law stepped in.
Police say McEntee, of 23 Joann Circle, and his wife got into an early morning argument on March 18. McEntee's wife reportedly called her father, Francis Taudner, for help, believing that her husband was drunk.
When Taudner, 65, arrived, he and McEntee, 32, began arguing. The argument eventually escalated into physical violence, police said. Both men were charged with disorderly conduct.
