Man Faces Charges in Westport Home Burglary

WESTPORT, Conn. – Bridgeport resident Noel Miletes was picked up by Westport police Tuesday morning at Norwalk Superior Court on a warrant charging him with burglary, police said.

The warrant stems from a March burglary of a home on Maple Avenue South in which Milentes and an accomplice allegedly stole a flat-screen TV valued at $1,000, police said.

Miletes, 34, was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny. He was held on $25,000 bond and was arraigned in court the same day. The second suspect, who was arrested in July, was also charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny.

Also from the police blotter:

• Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Post Road East was burglarized Tuesday night, police said. Four cash register drawers were reportedly stolen. Police were investigating and had yet to make any arrests.
