An early morning cruise in Westport on Saturday ended in arrest for Ansonia resident Eugene Moss. According to police reports, Moss, 55, was seen driving erratically on Post Road West and Riverside Avenue. When Moss was pulled over on Riverside, the officer smelled alcohol on his breath. Moss, who refused to take a breath test, failed field sobriety tests. He was charged with operating under the influence. He is due in court Oct. 26.

Bridgeport resident William Corprew turned himself into Westport police Tuesday night. He was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in connection with a Sept. 7 arrest on charges of misusing plates. Corprew, 30, was charged with second-degree failure to appear, in addition to charges filed against him in September. He is due in court Oct. 29.
