WESTPORT, Conn. The Levitt Pavilion show with award-winning banjoist Cynthia Sayer and her Sparks Fly Swing Band set for Sunday night will move indoors to air-conditioned Saugatuck Elementary School, 170 Riverside Ave., because of the rain.
The show will be 7 to 8:30 p.m., and admission is free. Only water is allowed indoors no food and drinks.
Sayer is regarded as one of the top four-string banjoists in the world. A member of Woody Allen's jazz band for more than 10 years, she has become an internationally acclaimed musical artist in her solo career. Backed by her band of top players, Sayer's swing-based, family-friendly show includes a mix of hot jazz, tango, western, classical, roots music and more.
