July 4 Means Family Fun in Town

The July Fourth celebrations start Saturday morning and continue well into the night. From swimming, to fireworks and music, Weston's got it all. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for the fireworks display at 9:20 P.M. No seating will be allowed onthe artificial turf fields.

The festivities, sponsored by the Weston Parks and Recreation and Fairfield County Bank, include the following:

11 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.–Free Swim at Bisceglie-Scribner Park for residents and their guests

4:30 p.m.–Ticket gates open on School Road (entrance is permitted on School Road and Route 57 and only before 7 p.m. on Lords Highway)

5:00- 9 p.m.–Barbecue provided by the Georgetown Saloon (there is a charge for food items)

5:00- 6:15 p.m.–American Concert Band Music

6:15- 7:15 p.m.–Westport Community Band

6:15- 7:15 p.m.–The Magic Genie Performs

7:30-9:20 p.m.–The Straight Note Chasers Band

9:20 p.m-FIREWORKS sponsored by Fairfield County Bank (you are encouraged to arrive before 8 P.M. to avoid the fireworks traffic)

10-11 p.m.–The Straight Note Chasers Band
