Jesup Road In Westport Reopens To Traffic

WESTPORT, Conn. – Police have reopened Jesup Road. The road was partially closed for more than three hours after a tractor trailer brought down power lines Friday around 11:30 a.m.

Jesup Road in the area of the Westport Police Department is temporarily closed due to downed power lines, according to police.

A passing tractor trailer pulled down the wires, police said. Drivers are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
